In Warlock 2, spell research is divided into 3 trees: Wizardry, Sorcery, and Divine Spells.
The Wizardry and Sorcery trees are divided into 5 groups. To research the next spell in a group, you must know at least 4 spells in the previous group.
The Divine spell tree is divided into 9 groups, 1 per god per group, and you must know at least 2 spells in the previous group to research the next group.
